or just get really inspired at the Gandhi-King Conference on Peacemaking at Christian Brothers University Oct. 26-27. “Building the Beloved Community” is the theme, with workshops on everything from fair trade to mindful communication, and speakers like Nontombi Naomi Tutu, a global human rights activist and the daughter of South Africa’s luminous Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The cost for the conference is $70 for adults, $30 for students and those with limited income.
