My work: I am the founder and President of Magnolia Homes, Inc. We build new homes with “that extra touch” in Shelby and Fayette County in all price ranges.

My hometown: is Memphis! My parents took me every day to work with them to their bakery on Beale Street during my childhood where Elvis often bought jelly doughnuts!

I feel most at home: around my children and grandchildren.

I can’t live without: my coffee in the morning.

I’d like to learn to: to ballroom dance.

People are impressed by my: success in a male dominated industry.

My theme song would be: “Impossible Dream” because in 1987 I had an impossible dream of starting Magnolia Homes from scratch.

I still can’t get the hang of: hitting a golf ball.

To relax I: travel to the Caribbean.

When I grow up I want to be: an actress!

I am inspired by: honesty, laughter and hard work.

The diary I would most like to read is: my mother’s – it would give me great insight in to what makes the greatest woman I ever knew tick.
