Interim Executive Director, MPACT Memphis

My work:  Necessary, to keep my feet planted on the ground.

My passions:  Yoga, writing, politics...oh, and CHOCOLATE.

I can’t live without:  The occasional strong cup o’ Joe, the kind that gives you the shakes for three hours.

What keeps me awake at night:  My neighbors’ oh-so-dramatic lovemaking.  Three words for him:  She’s faking it!

If I could be totally wild, I would:  Retire early to a nudist, wine-making colony in Napa that offers community yoga classes on Friday night.

Something most people don’t know about me:  I haven’t owned a TV in years.

The most important thing I ever lost:  My sense of humor...once...when a boyfriend broke up with me.  I quickly got it back.

The best thing I ever won:  University of Bridgeport poetry competition in 11th grade.

My best friend says I am:  Free.

I still can’t get the hang of:  Knitting.  Knit, purl, knit, purl...drives me nuts.

I wish I’d known:  You don’t always have to do it perfectly the first time.

The world would be a better place, if only:  People would limit texting and pick up the phone!
