If I could do it all over again: I would be a Broadway dancer/actor.
Never... take yourself too seriously, or forget about the least of these.
Always...be open-minded, be humble, see the good in all situations, and treat people the way you want to be treated.
I’d like to learn to: Speak French and Spanish, play the piano and the saxophone,
and do all Latin-American style dances.
The world would be a better place, if only: People were more open-minded.
I am most proud of: My parents—they came from drinking out of colored
water fountains and scrubbing floors and toilets to both working for themselves
and having others work for them.
The most important thing I ever lost: My Grandmother in 1984 and my Aunt Brenda in 2004.
My best friend says I am: Friendly, ambitious, talkative, funny.
I wish I’d known: That it was not cool to have hundreds of credit cards in college.
My passion: Working on behalf of other people, both at the Urban League and as a member of the Memphis City School board.
I’m thinking about: Going to Baskin-Robbins to get a banana split.
What keeps me awake at night: Thinking of what more I can do to improve and expand the programs and services offered by the Urban League.
If I could be totally wild, I would: Eat everything I want and love to eat, whenever I wanted to eat it.
